1. About InvitedIn and its organizations

InvitedIn is the platform that runs private membership communities, called organizations, including Bros and Lotus Boys. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean InvitedIn and the organizations on it, and "your organization" means each organization you apply to or are a member of.

Each organization is a private community. Membership is selective and is offered at the organization's discretion. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission, membership, access to any event, or continued membership.

InvitedIn is in beta testing until its official launch on October 29, 2026, and the app is constantly changing, during beta testing and after it. Features, screens, settings, rules and limits (such as how many invitations you get or how the Grid works) may be added, changed or removed at any time, sometimes without notice, and some features may not work as expected or may be unavailable for a while. Please tell us about anything that goes wrong with Provide feedback in the menu. See also section 19.

We may approve, reject, suspend, revoke, or decline to renew membership or access when we reasonably believe doing so is appropriate for the community, its members, its events, or its operations, subject to applicable law.

You have one InvitedIn account, even if you belong to more than one organization. Your name, contact details, and profile photos are part of that account, so changes you make to them apply in every organization you belong to.

Everyone on InvitedIn also belongs to the Lobby, InvitedIn's public group. It has two sides. Being in the Lobby doesn't put you in any other organization and doesn't, by itself, make you visible to other members.

Social Lobby: members who have both turned on "Show me in the Social Lobby" can see each other's Social profiles and nominate each other to their groups. They can also start a Social chat with each other, unless one of them has turned off "Allow Social chats from the Social Lobby". Members who hide their name and photo are never shown in the Social Lobby.

Hush Lobby: members can see and reach each other only on the Grid, as their Hush profiles, and only when both of them choose "Show the Hush Lobby" (see section 9).

You can turn either off at any time in the app. The Lobby has no group chat. It has its own rules, which you can read from Rules on its page in the member portal menu.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for membership, become a member, or participate in organization events. By submitting an application, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

3. Applications and applicant information

When you apply, we may collect information such as your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, Instagram username, referral information, profile photo, full body photo, and other information you choose to provide.

You agree that the information and photos you submit are accurate and relate to you. Submitted photos must not intentionally misrepresent your appearance and must not be AI-generated, deceptively AI-edited, or materially altered in a way that misrepresents you.

Applications must be completed and submitted in one session. InvitedIn does not provide a save-draft or save-for-later application feature.

Messaging other members takes one verification step first: a selfie check, or your Instagram username for our team to review. Until then, others can still see you on the Grids and message you, and you can read those chats once you've done it. If you booked a FaceTime verification call before October 18, 2026, the phone number you gave is kept with that booking, shown only to InvitedIn admins, and deleted with your account.

You can verify yourself with a selfie check in the app (Account settings › Verify my Account). If you choose it and agree on its screen, you take a short video selfie. Amazon Web Services (Amazon Rekognition) processes it for us, only to confirm that a live person is in front of the camera and to compare your face with your Social profile picture. If they match, your profiles get the ✓ Verified pill. We keep only whether it matched, when you tried, and two scores (how sure the live check was, and how alike the two faces were), which InvitedIn admins can see; we never keep the video, the selfie, or a template or other measurement of your face, never use it for anything else, and never sell or share it except with Amazon Web Services for this check. We delete those results with your account. The selfie check is optional: you can verify with your Instagram instead. From October 29, 2026, changing your Social profile picture (your first Social photo) removes your ✓ Verified until you verify again, so the pill always matches the face others see.

Your email address, phone number, and Instagram username are never shown to other members. Your name and photos appear on your member profile, which other members can see as described in section 9; you can hide your name and photo at any time.

Invitations

Members may invite people to InvitedIn itself (not to an organization) with a personal invitation link. Someone who applies with an invitation and completes the application is currently let in right away and becomes a member of the Lobby; joining any other organization is separate. InvitedIn may instead place new applicants on a waitlist and let people in on a regular schedule, in the order their applications were completed. If it does, the number let in each time is decided by InvitedIn and is not shown, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee admission or a date of admission.

The member who invited you sees your first name once you are let in.

4. Application review and duplicate applications

We use submitted information to review applicants, confirm identity or referrals where appropriate, maintain application and membership records, prevent duplicate submissions, protect community integrity, communicate with applicants, and operate InvitedIn and its organizations.

We may identify duplicate applications using information such as an email address or Instagram username. If an application already exists, a new application may not be accepted.

Applicants should not contact us for application-status updates unless we request additional information. If an applicant is accepted, we will contact them.

5. Membership

If accepted, you may receive a membership record, member identifier, digital credential, QR code, or other method of confirming membership in that organization. Membership credentials are personal to the member and may not be transferred, copied for another person, sold, or intentionally shared for unauthorized entry.

A membership may be active, suspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted. A valid credential does not override a suspended or revoked membership. Membership in one organization does not give you membership in, or access to, another organization.

Members may receive a limited number of invitations to InvitedIn (currently one a day, which does not carry over to the next day). Invitations are personal and may not be sold or traded. Invite only people you know and trust: if someone you invited is removed for a fake profile, spam, impersonation, or being under 18, InvitedIn may suspend your invitations and your access to the Grid for a period of time. InvitedIn may change, limit, or withdraw invitations at any time.

Invite promotion: free months of InvitedIn Plus

From the time we announce it in the app on Friday, October 16, 2026 through the end of Sunday, October 18, 2026 (Eastern time), and during any later promotion period we announce in the app, members may create as many invitation links as they want (InvitedIn may limit how many a member makes in one day to prevent abuse). Each link works for 24 hours after it’s made, so a person may join with a link made during a promotion period after that period ends. Each person who joins InvitedIn through one of your links made during a promotion period, and who is ✓ Verified by the end of October 29, 2026 (by InvitedIn after checking their Instagram or contacting us, or by checking in at an event), counts toward free months (a person who has given their Instagram, or told InvitedIn they don’t have one, counts while InvitedIn reviews it, until the end of October 29, 2026, and stops counting if InvitedIn can’t verify them) of InvitedIn Plus for you: 1 person earns 1 month, 3 people earn 2 months, 6 people earn 3 months, 10 people earn 4 months, and so on, each further month taking one more person than the last, up to 12 months. A person who deletes their account no longer counts, and the free months they earned are adjusted to match.

You can use Plus as soon as you earn your first month. Your free months start on October 29, 2026, the day InvitedIn Plus launches, and run for the number of months earned. If you subscribe to Plus while you have free months, your first payment is taken when they end. Only the member who invited earns free months, never the person invited, and each person counts once. A person who is removed from InvitedIn does not count, and if someone you invited is reported and the report is found to be true, InvitedIn may suspend your invitations and your access to the Grid as described above. Fake profiles don't count and will pause your invitations and Grid access, so only invite real people. Free months have no cash value, can't be sold, transferred or exchanged, and end if your account is removed or deleted. InvitedIn may end the promotion early for new invitations; months already earned are kept, and the beta changes described in section 1 don't take away free months already earned.

Group nominations and votes

Members may nominate someone who is already on InvitedIn to a group they belong to (other than the Lobby), currently one nomination a day, which does not carry over to the next day. The person nominated is asked first and decides what the group's members see while they vote: two photos they choose, their name (full, first name only, or no name, in which case voters see only a label for that nomination), and whether to include their social profile's details (About, age if shown, Intent, details and interests, but never their groups, events or badges). They can show less, but not more, after agreeing. Photos chosen from your Hush profile could let voters connect it to you, and the app warns you before you choose one; your Hush profile itself is never shown. The photos chosen for voters are deleted when the nomination ends, or a day after the nominee joins.

The nominee may also turn on "Voters can message me" (it is off unless they turn it on). Then each member of the group who can vote may open a text-only chat with them about that nomination: the nominee appears there only as on their vote card, the voter as they appear in that group's chat, and neither can open the other's profile from it. Only voters start these chats; the nominee can reply, and can turn the option off (but not back on). The chats never show how anyone voted, can't be sent in once the vote ends or the option is turned off, and disappear from the chat list a week after the vote ends. Blocking and reporting work there as in other chats.

Who nominated someone is never shown to the group. The nominee is told who nominated them, unless the nominator chose to nominate anonymously, hides their name and photo, or is anonymous in that group's chat, in which case the nominee is told only that a member of the group nominated them. A nomination made from a Hush profile is anonymous unless the nominator turns that off. When someone cannot be nominated, for any reason, the app gives the same answer and does not say why, and a member who tries too many such nominations in a day must wait until the next day. Members who have blocked each other cannot nominate each other.

Votes are blind. InvitedIn keeps each vote only to count it, and never shows other members or group staff how anyone voted or the running count. Whether a nominee is voted in depends on the group's size and the rules shown in the app. A nominee who is voted in confirms within 48 hours and currently joins the group right away while the group has let in fewer than 10 that week, and otherwise with the group's next weekly admission. InvitedIn may instead let nominees in only once a week. Saying no, or not answering, ends a nomination. Someone who is not voted in, or who says no, may be nominated to that group again after 3 months. From the win until a day after they join, the group's members can still see the nominee as voters did, and once the nominee has joined they can open the nominee's social profile and message them like any member of the group, unless the nominee hides their name and photo or is anonymous in that group's chat. A nomination is not a promise of membership. InvitedIn may change these rules, limit or pause nominations, or remove any member, including one who joined by a vote.

Members may be able to build groups of their own (InvitedIn may limit who can, for example to subscribers, and how many). A member who builds a group is its owner: members of the group always see the owner's name and photo, and the owner can't hide them while they own a group. The owner chooses whether the group is invite only or whether anyone on InvitedIn can join it, and can change its name, logo, description and rules, and remove members (who then can't rejoin for 30 days). The owner can add the group's first two members directly, without a vote; each person added is asked to confirm or deny, and a deny (or no answer within 7 days) lets the owner add someone else. After that, people join an invite-only group only when a member nominates them and the group votes them in, as described above. Built groups work like other groups (a group chat, a member list, and members can see each other's social profiles and message each other), but they never vet anyone. Anyone can leave a built group at any time. Reports about a built group go to the InvitedIn team, which may suspend a group or remove an owner. If an owner deletes their account, their groups close. If a subscription that let an owner build more groups ends, the groups they already built keep running.

A built group is either a social group (described above) or a Hush group. A Hush group exists only on the Hush side of InvitedIn: it's built from the Hush tab with the same choices as a social group (invite only, or anyone can join, and whether members can invite people with an invite link), its group chat is in the Hush tab's chat list, and everyone in it, its owner included, appears only as their Hush profile (or their anonymous name, if they hide their Hush profile or choose to appear anonymously in its chat). Joining one takes a Hush profile with a photo. It never appears on social profiles, in your list of social groups, in social chats or to anyone outside it (a Hush group anyone can join is listed in the Hush tab for members with a Hush profile), and being in the same Hush group never lets members see each other's social profiles or start a social chat. Members of the same Hush group can see each other on the Grid (squares, Hush profiles and Hush chats), on the same terms as the Grid itself. An invite-only Hush group works like an invite-only social group: its owner adds its first 2 members from their Hush profile (only people whose Hush profile they can see or who they have a Hush chat with, never across a block), each person added confirming or denying before joining; after that, members nominate people and the group votes, under the same rules as other groups. A Hush group's nominations happen only on the Hush side: members nominate someone from their Hush profile, the nominee chooses 2 of their Hush photos (or new ones) and whether to show their Hush name, and the group, the nominator and the nominee see each other only as their Hush profiles, never a real name or social profile; voters can't message the nominee about it. Hush groups and social groups count together toward the number of groups a member can run.

6. Community conduct, privacy, and discretion

Each organization is built around trust, privacy, discretion, and respect for other members. By participating, you agree not to disclose private member information, private group content, event details intended to remain private, or identifying information about other members without permission.

Harassment, threats, unwanted conduct, impersonation, deceptive use of another person's photos or identity, unauthorized recording, or conduct that materially undermines the safety or trust of the community may result in removal, suspension, or revocation.

Your organization may also have its own community rules, which you can read from Rules in the member portal menu. They apply in addition to these terms.

7. Photos and uploaded content

You retain any rights you have in photos or other content you submit. By submitting content, you give InvitedIn and your organizations permission to store, process, display internally, and use that content as reasonably necessary to review your application, administer membership, verify identity, support event access, protect community integrity, and operate the service.

We do not receive ownership of your submitted photos merely because you upload them. We do not grant other members a right to copy, publish, or redistribute your application photos. How many photos your profiles can show, and who sees them, is described in section 9.

The photo shown for members without a photo, and for members who hide their photo, is a licensed stock photo posed by a model, used for illustration only. It does not show any member. (iStock.com/OlegUsmanov)

8. Chat and messages

Members may send messages and photos to each other through chat in the InvitedIn member portal, both in the organization chat and in direct messages. Messages and photos are stored on InvitedIn's servers. They are not end-to-end encrypted.

You can save photos to My photos to send them again later. You have separate saved photos for your social chats and your Hush chats, and only you can see them. Saved photos are kept until you remove them or delete your account; removing one doesn't take back the photos you already sent. A photo removed under our intimate image policy is also removed from anyone's saved photos.

Staff do not read members' messages. When a member reports a message or conversation, staff review a copy of the reported messages, which is kept for that review even if the sender later deletes them. Admins may remove messages from the organization chat and may mute or remove members from it.

You agree not to share other members' messages or photos outside the app, and not to send explicit photos to anyone who hasn't asked for them. We comply with valid legal requests from law enforcement, and we report apparent child sexual abuse material as required by law. See also the chat rules.

Polls in group chats

You can post a poll in a group chat, up to the daily limit we set, and members of that group can answer it until it closes. Answers are anonymous: members see only how many picked each option and their own answers, never who picked what, and we never show anyone's answers to other members. A poll is a message, so you can delete it and members can report it like any other message. We may make posting polls part of InvitedIn Plus.

Unsend and sharing your Hush profile

These come with InvitedIn Plus. With Plus, you can unsend a message you sent, for up to 24 hours after sending it. An unsent message disappears from the chat for everyone, with no "deleted" note left behind. Like a deleted message, we keep a copy for 30 days so that a report can still be reviewed, and staff reviewing a report can see it.

In a social chat you can share your Hush profile. This shows the other member which Hush profile is yours: they get a card with your Hush name and photo that opens your Hush profile, even if you aren't on the Grid together (without your distance). The card stops working if you delete it, hide your Hush profile, block them or delete your account, but they may already know it's you.

Editing messages and disappearing messages

You can edit a message you sent, for up to 24 hours after sending it. The other members see the new text with an "Edited" label. We keep the earlier versions with the message so that a report can still be reviewed, and staff reviewing a report can see them; they go when the message is deleted.

In a one-to-one social or Hush chat, either of you can turn on disappearing messages for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hours. Messages sent while it's on disappear for both of you that long after they're sent, leaving only a "Disappearing message" note in the chat, and we then delete their text and photos for good, so a report made after that can't include them. Their notifications show no text. Disappearing messages don't stop anyone from saving them first: the other member can take a screenshot, copy the text or photograph the screen before a message disappears.

Read receipts

With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, you can turn on read receipts in Chat settings. In your one-to-one chats (social, Hush and nominee chats, never group chats) you then see "Read" beside the time of the last message the other member has read. It only works one way: turning it on shows no one anything about you, and members without it don't see whether you've read their messages. It stops when your Plus ends.

Meet someone new

Meet someone new is off unless you turn it on (on the Social tab or in Chat settings). While it's on, every day at 6 PM Eastern we may suggest one member from a group you share (never the Lobby) who chose an Intent you also chose, and we show each of you the other's first name, Social photo, age (if shown), a group you share, and the Intent and interests you have in common. We use only your Social profile for this, never your Hush profile or your location. A suggestion lasts until the next day's 6 PM. If you both tap "I'm in", a Social chat opens between you; if either of you passes, doesn't answer or turns it off, it simply ends, and nobody is told who passed. A pass can't be undone, and the same two people are never suggested to each other again. We don't suggest people who have blocked or reported each other, who already have a Social chat, or who hide their name and photo. We keep the suggestions and your answers to run the feature; Download my data lists your own, and deleting your account removes them.

Sextortion and threats

If someone threatens to share intimate images of you, or threatens you to get images, money or anything else, report their profile, Hush profile, chat or message and choose "Sextortion or threats". So that they can't keep going while we look into it, their account is put on hold right away: until the InvitedIn team reviews the report, they can't use InvitedIn and don't show on the Grid. Misusing this report, for example against someone you simply don't like, is itself a breach of these terms: if the team finds a report was misused, the person who made it can't send chats, see the Grid or show on it for 12 hours the first time and 24 hours each time after that.

Intimate images shared without consent

If an intimate image of you was shared on InvitedIn without your consent, you can ask us to remove it, even if you don't have an account. Use the form at invitedin.app/takedown or, in the app, report the profile, Hush profile, chat or message and choose "Intimate image shared without consent". Tell us where the image is and how to find it, confirm that you are the person shown or are authorized to act for them, and sign the request. Don't send us the image itself. We remove the image, and any identical copies we find on InvitedIn, as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after we receive a valid request, and we email you when it's done or if we need more information. We keep a private record of the request and of what was removed, which only InvitedIn admins can see.

9. Location, the Grid, and member profiles

The Grid in the member portal shows members of the organizations you belong to who are near you, closest first, and may show only a limited number of the closest members. It also shows members of the Hush Lobby, but only if you and they have both turned on "Show the Hush Lobby"; you can turn that off at any time. Members who hide their name and photo show through the Hush Lobby only by their anonymous name, without photos, like they do to their own groups. The Grid uses your location only if you turn it on, and only while you use the Grid. InvitedIn does not track your location in the background.

When you use the Grid, your location is rounded to an area about 0.1 mile (160 meters) across before it is saved, and only your latest location is kept, so there is no history of where you have been. Other members see an approximate, rounded distance, never your location: to keep anyone from working out where you are, each member's distance to you is deliberately off by up to about 0.15 mile, and your location can change only every few minutes. If you turn off "Show my distance" in Grid settings, they see no distance at all (the Grid still lists people closest first). A location stops counting after 24 hours, until you open the Grid again.

The Grid is two-way: you can see it only while you show on it. You can stop showing on the Grid at any time; your last location then stays saved but is not shown to anyone or used. Organization staff cannot see your location. If you delete your account, your location is deleted with it.

While your Grid is off, your Hush chats stay in your chat list but can't be read until you turn it back on, and their notifications pause. With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, your Hush chats can stay readable and keep notifying you while your Grid is off.

With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, you can turn on "Browse invisibly" in Grid settings: you keep seeing the Grid and can still open Hush profiles and start Hush chats, but no one sees your square, finds you in Grid Chat or opens your Hush profile from the Grid, and you never show as online. Hush chats you already have keep working both ways, and anyone you already have a Hush chat with can still open your Hush profile from it. You can't post in Grid Chat while it's on. Opening someone's Hush profile while you browse invisibly doesn't count toward the views they're shown. It turns off by itself if your Plus ends.

With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, you can filter the Grid by one or more of your Hush groups. A group filter shows members of that group who are on the Grid, so members of a group you're both in can tell your Hush profile is in it. If you hide that group's pill on your profile, you never show in its filter.

The Grid may show who's online now (a green dot on their square and "Online now" on their Hush profile and your Hush chats, with an "Online now" filter), for everyone or as part of InvitedIn Plus. Online means the app is open, or the member signed in or posted in the last 15 minutes. Members browsing invisibly never show as online. In Chat settings you can choose, separately for your Social and your Hush profile, whether others see when you're online.

You can add members to your favorites by holding their square on the Grid or from their Hush profile. A favorite's square gets a gold star. Favorites are private: no one is told you added them, and we don't show anyone who favorited them.

The same way, you can mark a Hush profile "Met up" or "Contender". Marking favorites, Met up and Contender is free. With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, the Grid's filters can show only your favorites or only the people you marked. Once you mark someone "Met up", you can also rate them from 1 to 5 stars. These marks and ratings are private: only you can see them. On our side we keep totals of the ratings each Hush profile gives and gets, with its median, and look at ratings by Hush profile details in groups of at least five profiles, to improve the app and the suggestions we show; none of it is shown to members, the person rated included, the person is never told, and no other member or organization staff sees them. They may shape the suggestions we show you, never what anyone else sees, and they're deleted if you or they delete your account.

You can hide your name and photo everywhere for free in Account settings › Privacy. With InvitedIn Plus, when we offer it, you can instead hide them on just one of your two profiles: only on your social profile (your Hush profile shows as usual on the Grid) or only on your Hush profile (you appear on the Grid anonymously while your social profile shows as usual). Chat admins can't hide their social profile. If your Plus ends, both profiles go back to one setting, hidden if either one was.

On the Grid you appear as your Hush profile, which is separate from your social profile: a Hush name and Hush photos you choose, an optional "About", and the Hush details below. You need a Hush name and at least one Hush photo to see the Grid or show on it. Members on the Grid see your Hush profile, never your real name or your profile photos, and InvitedIn doesn't show members that the two belong to the same person. Your groups show on your Hush profile, and so does how many upcoming events you're going to (only when it's at least one, and not counting RSVPs you made anonymous), but never which events. If you hide your name and photo, you appear on the Grid anonymously, without your Hush name or Hush photos: members who open your square see your anonymous name, how far away you are, and your Hush "About" and Hush details (and your age, if you show it), and they can still message you there, block you or report you.

Each Hush photo is checked automatically when you add it, using Amazon Web Services image moderation. Hush photos may contain nudity of you only: photos it is all but certain contain nudity are marked as adult content and show only to members who turn on "Show adult content" in Account settings (it is off unless you turn it on); everyone else sees a black "Adult content" cover instead. Graphic or hateful images are turned away. Never post a photo of anyone else without their consent, or of anyone under 18. The InvitedIn team may remove Hush photos that break these terms. Organization staff cannot see Hush profiles. If you block or report someone from the Grid, the block covers the whole person, and the InvitedIn team sees who the report is about; you only ever see their Hush profile. You can block up to 5 people in a day, and you can remove a block at any time; you can always report. When you block someone you can say why (optional); only the InvitedIn team sees it, and the person you block is never told.

Tapping a Hush photo opens it full screen, where you can react to it with an emoji. Reactions are anonymous: everyone who can see the photo sees how many of each it has, never who reacted. After you react you choose whether to let its owner know it's you. If you do, the photo is sent to them with your reaction on it, as a message from your Hush profile in your Hush chat with them, under your Hush name; if not, they're only told that a member reacted.

Photos on a member's social profile open full screen the same way, with their own set of emoji reactions, which work the same: anonymous counts, and if you let the owner know it's you, the photo is sent to them with your reaction on it, as a message in your social chat with them (only when you could message them anyway); if not, they're only told that a member reacted. A new photo starts with no reactions.

You can message a member from their Hush profile. Hush chats are separate from your other chats: each of you sees the other only as your Hush profiles, never your real names or profile photos, unless one of you chooses "Share my social profile" in the chat's menu, which sends the other your name and profile photo and cannot be undone. Hush chats follow the same chat rules as other chats; a report made from a Hush chat sends the InvitedIn team the recent messages in that chat. You can turn Hush chat notifications off in your Grid settings.

Grid Chat is a set of public rooms on the Grid: one for each of your organizations, which only its members see, and, with InvitedIn Plus, one room for everyone you could see on the Grid. In Grid Chat you appear only as your Hush profile (or your anonymous name, if you hide your name and photo), with the same rounded distance shown on your Grid square, and only to members who could see you on the Grid. Any member who can use the Grid can read their organizations' rooms; posting, opening the Hush profiles of the people posting, and seeing their photos unblurred come with InvitedIn Plus. Posting in an organization's room tells the members of that room that you belong to it. Messages and photos show for 12 hours; photos go through the same automatic check as Hush photos. Grid Chat follows the chat rules: you can report any message to the InvitedIn team, which can remove messages and stop someone from posting. Blocks apply both ways. What you posted is deleted if you delete your account.

Members of the organizations you share (the Lobby and Hush groups don't count), and members of the Social Lobby while you both show there, can see your profile: your photos and name (or only your anonymous name if you hide your name and photo), the organizations you share with them, and the upcoming events you have said you are going to, unless your RSVP is anonymous. Members who block each other cannot see each other's profiles, Hush profiles or each other on the Grid. Reports about a member's profile go to the InvitedIn team rather than to organization staff.

You can add optional details to your profile, such as an "About me", what you're looking for, your neighborhood, your zodiac sign, the field you work in, your interests and other personal details, and to your Hush profile, such as your height, weight, appearance, size (or length and girth), sexuality, expression, zodiac sign (the same sign as on your profile, shown there and on your Grid square during its season only if you choose), what you're looking for, whether you can host or travel, role, ethnicity, body, what you're into, your turn-ons, your preference (for example, condoms or PrEP), exercise and workouts. Members of the organizations you share see whatever you add (on the Grid, members who can see you there), and members can filter the Grid by these details. Many of these details, like your ethnicity, sexuality, sex life and PrEP use, are sensitive; share only what you are comfortable with. Every one of them is optional. If you add your birthday, it stays private: members see only your age, and only on the profile or profiles where you choose to show it. Organization staff cannot see these details. You can change or remove them at any time, and they are deleted, with your Hush profile and Hush photos, if you delete your account.

Your profile can have up to 4 photos and your Hush profile up to 5 Hush photos. Where InvitedIn offers InvitedIn Plus for more photos, each profile has up to 4 photos without Plus and up to 12 with it. If you already had a 5th Hush photo, or your Plus ends, nothing you added is deleted: other members see only your first 4 profile photos and your first 4 Hush photos (in the order you chose), while you still see all of them and can remove the extra photos or reorder your Hush photos.

How you use the Grid

We record how you browse the Grid: which Hush profiles you open and from where, how long you look at them and how many of their photos you view, whose squares the Grid showed you, and the filters you use. We keep this for up to one year to improve features such as recommendations. It covers only the Hush side, is never shown to other members or organization staff, and is deleted if you delete your account.

We are preparing For You, a future paid feature that suggests people on each side, the Social side and the Hush side, and says what you have in common. Each side's suggestions use only that side: your profile details, the Grid filters you use, who you open, favorite and message, and how often members answer chats others start with them and when they are usually active on that side. Each day we work out, for each side, the share of new chats you answered within a day and the hours you tend to be active. When For You opens, members who use it may see whether you are likely to reply (high, medium or low) and when you are usually active (such as evenings), but never the numbers, never who you chat with, and never when you are active if you turned off "Show when I'm online" for that side. Your ethnicity and your preference (condoms or PrEP) are never used to suggest anyone. For You never connects your Social profile to your Hush profile.

Sensitive information and your consent

Some information you can share on InvitedIn is treated as sensitive under privacy laws: your location when you use the Grid; Hush details such as your sexuality, role, ethnicity, what you're into, your turn-ons and your preference, which may say something about your sex life or your health (such as PrEP use); and the groups you belong to, which may say something about your sexual orientation or sex life. InvitedIn collects this information only when you choose to give it (by turning on the Grid and sharing your location, by adding these details, or by joining a group), and uses it only to provide the features you use, to keep members safe, and to meet legal obligations. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to make decisions about you beyond running those features. By agreeing to these terms and choosing to share this information, you consent to InvitedIn using it this way. You can withdraw your consent at any time by removing these details, turning off "Show the Grid", leaving a group or deleting your account; doing so doesn't affect how it was used before.

10. Feedback

You can send feedback or report a bug from Provide Feedback in the member portal menu. Feedback is linked to your account so we can follow up with you, unless you choose "Make my feedback anonymous". Anonymous feedback is stored with only the message and the time it was sent, and is not linked to you.

11. Privacy notice

We will never sell your personal information. We don't rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else for their own purposes, and InvitedIn doesn't run ads or ad trackers. The only times your information leaves InvitedIn are the ones described in this section: service providers that run InvitedIn for us, and disclosures the law requires or that are needed to protect someone's safety.

We may collect and process information you submit directly, information generated by your use of InvitedIn, your approximate location if you use the Grid, the sensitive information described in section 9 if you choose to share it, membership status, credential activity, event attendance and check-in information, communications with us, and administrative records relating to your application or membership.

We use this information to operate InvitedIn and its organizations; evaluate applications; administer memberships; provide event access; communicate with applicants and members; prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate applications, and unauthorized entry; maintain records; improve our operations; and comply with legal obligations.

Access to applicant and member information is limited to organizers, authorized staff, and service providers who need the information for legitimate operational purposes. Service providers may use it only to provide their services to InvitedIn. Staff of one organization can see information about members of that organization, not of organizations they don't work for. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of InvitedIn or its organizations.

12. Device information and notifications

If you turn on notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can send the notifications you've enabled, like new chat messages. If you use the InvitedIn mobile app, we also collect your device type and app version. When you send feedback that isn't anonymous, we store the device and browser details your browser reports, to help us fix problems.

You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings.

13. Camera and photos

InvitedIn asks for camera and photo access only to let you upload profile photos and send photos in chat, and, for staff, to scan member QR codes at check-in. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose.

14. Data storage and retention

InvitedIn uses third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud hosting, storage, email, authentication, security, and communications providers, to operate its systems.

Application, membership, credential, attendance, administrative, and audit records may be retained for operational, safety, integrity, duplicate-prevention, historical, and recordkeeping purposes, subject to applicable law. Rejected applications may be retained rather than automatically deleted so we can preserve application history and prevent repeated or deceptive submissions. Applications on the InvitedIn waitlist are kept until the applicant is let in or the application is closed.

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed, except where continued retention is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate operational purposes.

15. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the InvitedIn app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@invitedin.app. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos, and personal information within 30 days, except for limited records we are required to keep for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You can also download a copy of your information at any time under Settings → Download my data. If your membership is suspended, you can still download your data or delete your account from the sign-in screen.

Deleting your account ends your membership in every organization on InvitedIn. Anonymous feedback isn't linked to you, so it isn't affected.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information under our control. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge that electronic transmission and storage carry some inherent risk.

17. Event access and check-in

Admission to an event may require an active membership, valid credential, invitation, event-specific approval, payment, pass, or other eligibility requirement. Event staff may verify membership status and record attendance at entry.

Organization and venue staff may deny admission or remove a participant when reasonably necessary to enforce event rules, protect participants, comply with venue requirements, or address safety or conduct concerns.

18. Voluntary participation and assumption of risk

Participation in organization activities and events is voluntary. Social events and other activities may involve ordinary and unexpected risks, including risks associated with crowds, physical activity, travel, venues, equipment, the actions of other participants, and other circumstances outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks ordinarily associated with the activities in which you choose to participate. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and for following applicable event, venue, and safety instructions.

Meeting people you find on InvitedIn

InvitedIn lets members find and message each other, including on the Grid, where you appear as your Hush profile. InvitedIn and its organizations do not run background checks on members, do not verify what members say about themselves (including their name, age, photos or details), and are not responsible for how members act, online or in person. Anyone you meet may not be who they say they are.

If you choose to meet someone you found on InvitedIn, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety. We encourage you to meet for the first time in a public place, tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting, arrange your own transportation, stay in control of your drinks and belongings, never send money, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Report anyone who threatens, harasses or harms you, or who seems under 18, from their profile or chat, and contact local emergency services if you are in danger. To the extent permitted by law, InvitedIn and its organizations are not liable for any harm arising from meetings or other interactions between members that InvitedIn or the organization did not organize.

19. Disclaimer of warranties, release and limitation of liability

InvitedIn, including the app, the Grid, chat and every other feature, is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InvitedIn and its organizations make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that InvitedIn will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that any content (including what members say about themselves) is accurate, or that any feature will remain available. You use InvitedIn at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that InvitedIn, its organizations, and their organizers, volunteers, staff, representatives, and affiliated event personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your application, membership, participation, event attendance, or use of InvitedIn.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Any waiver or release is intended to apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Personal property

You are responsible for your personal belongings at organization activities and events. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

21. Event-specific rules

Individual events may have additional rules, eligibility requirements, venue policies, dress guidance, check-in procedures, or waivers. By attending an event, you agree to follow the requirements communicated for that event.

22. Communications

By providing contact information, you agree that InvitedIn and your organizations may use it for transactional and operational communications related to your application, membership, credentials, events, safety, policies, or account. Marketing or promotional communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

23. Additional terms for Lotus Boys

If you are a Lotus Boys applicant or member, these terms also apply.

Consent

You agree to obtain consent in all interactions with other members and attendees. Consent can be verbal or non-verbal, but it is never implied merely by the atmosphere of an event or by another person's attendance, and it can be withdrawn at any time.

Harassing, coercive, or non-consensual behavior may result in immediate removal from an event and from Lotus Boys, and in being barred from future events.

Additional risks

In addition to the risks described in section 18, Lotus Boys activities and events may involve emotional distress and exposure to sexually transmitted infections. Protecting yourself from injury, distress, and infection is your own responsibility.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lotus Boys, InvitedIn, and their organizers, volunteers, staff, and representatives from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your participation in an event or your violation of these terms.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as InvitedIn, its organizations, membership programs, technology, events, or legal obligations evolve. The current version will be posted on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of InvitedIn after an update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

25. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.

26. Contact

For questions about these terms, privacy, your application or membership, or to report a security issue, contact support@invitedin.app.
